The heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in the districts of Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, Jagtial, Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool for next 48 hours (today and tomorrow), it said.

Dry weather is likely to prevail over the state with maximum temperatures likely to be above normal by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.

The mercury is likely to be above 42 degrees Celsius at a few places in Telangana, it said.
