the MeT Department said here.

Mercury in Bikaner and Kota settled at 44.5 and 44.4

degrees Celsius respectively, it said.

Jaisalmer and Jaipur too braved a hot day with their

maximum temperatures at 44 and 43.4 degrees Celsius

respectively. Ajmer and Jodhpur recorded their maximum

temperatures at 41 degreed Celsius each, the weatherman said.

The Department has predicted rain/thunderstorm likely

over the isolated places in the state.
