NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed the Centre and two others to file their replies within 24 hours on the dengue situation in the capital.

A Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Kailash Gambhir sought replies from the Centre, Delhi Government and Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) after a lawyer complained that the authorities have so far failed to take steps to check the spread of the deadly disease.

Additional Solicitor General (ASG) PP Malhotra accepted the notice on behalf of the Centre.
