Hearing a PIL filed by Kalika Prasad Kala, a division bench of the high court comprising Justices Rajiv Sharma and Sudhanshu Dhulia directed the government to admit 132 children, who had either lost both their parents or father in the tragedy to Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya or Shayama Prasad Mukherjee Navodaya Vidyalaya, whichever is closer to their place of residence, in the academic session 2017-18.
