Haryana BSP secretary Sanjay Sharma today said he has resigned from the party to join the Congress in the state.     "I have left the BSP and reposed faith in policies and programmes of Congress president Sonia Gandhi," Sharma, who unsuccessfully contested the recent assembly elections in Haryana from Tohana seat, said.     He said Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had welcomed him into the party.     He also campaigned for Congress candidate Bharat Singh Beniwal pitted against Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) nominee Abhay Singh Chautala in the Ellenabad by-poll in the state.
