BJP's Haryana chief Subhash Barala on Thursday dismissed rumours about his resignation saying that news of his resignation is false.
Earlier media reports emerged that Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala had offered to resign on Thursday with the party currently struggling to attain majority- 46 seats in 90 seat assembly in Haryana Assembly elections.
He is also currently trailing against Devender Singh Babli of Jannayak Janta Party by 39476 votes.
The state of Haryana is witnessing a close electoral contest for the Assembly polls which might be headed towards a hung parliament.
Counting for the Haryana Assembly Elections 2019 is underway. Voting in all 90 constituencies took place on October 21.
The exit polls predicted that BJP is likely to emerge as the single largest party, reaching the half-way majority mark.
Banking upon a power-packed campaign led by PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and other leaders, BJP reached out to voters as the incumbent chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar seeks re-election.
