Haryana government has decided to connect Gurgaon with Indira Gandhi International Airport through high speed metro rail connectivity and also taken up the issue of additional road links between Delhi and towns of National Capital Region.A spokesman of Haryana Town and Country Planning Department said today that the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRCL) has already been requested to prepare the detailed project report for which terms of reference were being finalised.He said Haryana government has also taken up the issue of metro extension from Badarpur to Faridabad and from Mundka to Bahadurgarh.He said the issue of additional road links between Delhi and towns of National Capital Region for connectivity have also been taken up and negotiated with the government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.The Delhi government has agreed to provide two additional links to Gurgaon and efforts are being made for two more links for Gurgaon and one for Rajiv Gandhi Education City in Sonipat.
