According to Dr Ashwin Jansari, HoD, Psychology, the name of the centre is a combination of three Greek words - mind, measure and relation.

Dr Jansari added that the centre aims to do psychology tests like the IQ test, adjustment power, vocational interest and personality type tests, which will be conducted on students in the age group of 9-16 years, by charging a nominal fee of Rs15-20.

"This is an effort to help students to understand themselves. The test results will decode their area of interest and help them choose their education path. It is an attempt to reduce stress on students because of the wrong choice in higher education," said Dr Jansari.

Students with a post-graduate diploma in counselling psychology and experts from the department will help with these tests.
