The bench has asked the state government to file reply on February 23, apart from ordering the Bhavnagar court to furnish all records related to a case of gambling against Jamal.

The bench has asked specific question to the government regarding intelligence inputs received by DCB about Sadik and when they know about dreaded plan made out by him.

The court also put a question that why the police had filed A-summary report, which means accused in missing, against Sadik who was accused of gambling.

The DCB claimed that Sadik was on mission to eliminate chief minister Narendra Modi. In a petition, Shabbir Jamal, brother of Sadik, has sought investigation of the case by the CBI.
