Highly-placed sources in the state government have confirmed the developments and said, “All fellows have been communicated about their appointments. They are expected to join the training phase after January 14. They will undergo training for two months at their respective departments after which, the department head of the monitoring committee will decide whether to continue with a fellow or relieve him or her.”

Only eight state government departments have sought for CM’s fellows, where 12 candidates will be provided. “Urban development department, education department and general administration planning department have been given two fellows each, while health, social justice, women and child development, chief minister’s office, administrative reforms and training department and sports department have been given one each,” the officer said.
