"We don't want any technological problem during the examination. Last year nearly 500 students had to reappear for GCET. This year we don't want any such incidents so we are opting for some changes," said an official of GTU.

"Last year students had to suffer because of some technical problem. There were instances of data loss due to fluctuation in electricity supply.

So, this year we have floated e-tenders and invited bids from across the world," said the official.GTU will declare the dates once the process is finalised.  "We are planning to complete GCET by the second week of June.

This year students will be allowed to appear in the test twice and the best of two scores will be considered for preparation of merit list," an official said.
