Addressing a gathering at the Tana-Riri Music festival at Vadnagar in Mehsana district on Saturday, Patel said that the MLAs will spend from the MLA fund for development of these villages. Patel urged the representatives to focus on developing infrastructure and basic amenities, such as toilets for these villages, an official statement said today.

The state government is also planning to implement the scheme for representatives of all local bodies like district panchayats and taluka panchayats, it said. The Chief Minister presented the 'Tana-Riri Award-2014' to noted singer Prabha Aatre on the occasion.
