GUWAHATI: The banned United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) has charged the Centre with being 'insincere' about restoring peace in Assam.

In its mouthpiece 'Freedom', the ULFA alleged that the Centre was not interested in peaceful resolution of the 'conflicts in the state'.

The outfit also alleged that army operations against the ultras have been intensified and its cadres were being eliminated in 'fake encounters'.
