Parrikar was admitted to the facility located at Bambolim on Sunday night.

BJP MP from Goa Narendra Sawaikar described this as a 'routine check-up'. However, Sawaikar refused to comment on reports that Parrikar had been taken to hospital because he had complained of abdominal pain.

Earlier, Parrikar was admitted in Mumbai on February 15, before being discharged.

On Thursday, after landing in Goa, Parrikar went to his residence in Panaji and then presented a budget in the assembly.

The budget session of the Goa legislature was also curtailed to just four days ending due to Parrikar's illness.
