Leading industry giants from across the globe, during their meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum meeting at Davos, have expressed their desire to participate in the ensuing Magnetic Maharashtra conference organised by the state government between February 18 and 20 in Mumbai. American multinational beverage corporation Coca-Cola has shown interest to associate with the state government in fields of food processing, reuse of plastic and solid waste management.
Fadnavis held one on one meeting with Coca-Cola President and Chief Executive officer James Quincey.
Further, Fadnavis met representatives of KPMG, which provides full range of services, including financial and business advisory, tax and regulatory, and risk advisory services, and discussed government’s move to achieve Maharashtra’s economy worth $3 trillion. The entire exercise will focus on job creation, automation and skill development and reskilling.
In an interactive session with the representatives of industry majors, Fadnavis said that Maharashtra continues to be the favoured investment destination.
