Docs take 3 hours to reconstruct the vital parts including intestine & liver of three-and-a-half-year-old victim
In a ghastly act, a three-and-a half year old girl child was gang-raped by two persons and dumped near Dabla Railway Station under Neem Ka Thana police station in Sikar.
The girl is presently undergoing treatment at Jaipur’s JK Lon Hospital where doctors stated her condition to be ‘immensely critical’.
It took doctors three hours to stitch the child’s vital organs and perform a ‘total perennial reconstruction’ operation.
“When she was brought at 2 am, she was in a horrible condition. We immediately had to operate upon her in order to resettle her vital organs in their position. It seemed that the child was brutally raped,” said Dr Chetan Sharma, who is heading the five-doctor committee formed for girl’s treatment.
The doctor also revealed that the girl’s condition is highly ‘unpredictable’ and she is under observation. “Her vital organs are now functioning but we can’t say anything at the moment. One unit blood was also transfused as she had lost a lot of blood on her way to Jaipur. We are hoping for the best for the little girl,” Dr Sharma told dna.
The girl was referred from SMS Hospital to JK Loan Hospital at 2 am.
On Tuesday night, she was found lying unconscious by her parents in the vicinity of Dabla Railway Station. The victim lives near the station in a makeshift shack.
She was rushed to a local hospital from where she was referred to Jaipur.
According to police, initial investigation in the matter indicated that the girl was fetching water from a water cooler at the station along with her two other family members. She was lured by two men who offered her candies and then raped her. The child was allegedly raped in a goods train carriage.
