Several national leaders, chief ministers and leaders of different states, among others, are participating in Gujarat’s Golden Jubilee celebration on May 1, 2010. They include NDA chairman and former deputy prime minister LK Advani, opposition leaders in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley respectively and former Union minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa.Representatives from states include Karnataka chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, Uttarakhand chief minister Dr Ramesh Pokhrial, Bihar’s deputy chief minister Sushilkumar Modi, Punjab’s deputy chief minister Sukhvir Singh Badal and his colleague Manoranjan Kalia, and former governor of West Bengal Viren Shah.Gujarat’s chief minister Narendra Modi had extended a special invite to national and state leaders to take part in the 50th anniversary of Gujarat’s Foundation Day, in response to which, the above leaders shall be participating.
