According to credible intelligence inputs, a group of 15-20 well trained Lashkar terrorists are waiting at the launching pads in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) to cross over the line of control (LoC).

The terrorists are expected to infiltrate in two or three separate groups and fan out in different areas to create mayhem. They have been waiting at the POK launching pads for last 15 days, sources said. A Lashkar commander called Shaukhat is leading a group of four terrorists while another group of 6-7 terrorists is being led by LeT commander Irfan Tandewala. There could be third group also, sources added.

Pakistan based terror outfits usually try to infiltrate in the valley before heavy snowfall makes the passes inundated and extremely difficult to cross over without the cover of the foliage in clear white snow. 13/11 Paris terror attacks could be a major reason for Lashkar to attack as such incidents in succession help terror outfits to charge up their recruits easily to carry out big terror strikes and help amplify their impact even more.

A couple of months ago similar warning given by the intelligence agencies had proved correct. Soon after the alert two successive attacks had taken place in J&K. In one incident security forces managed to catch Lashkar terrorist Naved alive.
