Four mines today exploded due to a forest fire along the Line of Control (LOC) in Balakote forward belt of Poonch sector, police officials said.
Four mines today exploded due to a forest fire along the Line of Control (LOC) in Balakote forward belt of Poonch sector, police officials said.
The fire erupted near Gola area along the LoC and soon spread in nearly one km area till Balakote forward belt in Poonch sector this morning, they said.
Due to the fire, four mines exploded, they said, adding that forest officials, army and police besides, some villagers are engaged in dousing the flames.
