Four asphyxiated in Bihar

Four members of family got asphyxiated in a well while sinking a tubewell at Sahdullahpur village in Vaishali district today, police sources said.

A man went into a dry well to sink a tubewell and suddenly the motor of a machine burst filling smoke in the well, sources said.

Three other members of the family jumped into the well to save him but all of them got asphyxiated, they said.

The bodies of the four were fished out from the well and brought to a hospital here for autopsy, sources said.
