A former village headman has been kidnapped by miscreants from Assam's Sonitpur district today.
 
Police said two motorcycle-borne miscreants kidnapped Tulsiram Rai from Misamari Naharoni area.
 
A manhunt has been launched to rescue Rai, the police said adding the reason behind the abduction is yet to be ascertained.
