The Congress on Wednesday appointed former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot as general secretary in-charge for Gujarat ahead of polls later this year.
The Congress on Wednesday appointed former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot as general secretary in-charge for Gujarat ahead of polls later this year.
Gehlot is an MLA from Sadarpura constituency of Jodhpur.
He served as the chief minister of Rajasthan from 1998 to 2003 and again to power in 2008 and ruled till 2013.
