Five suspected Naxals were arrested today in a village in Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh with the help of villagers, police said.Five suspected Naxals were arrested from Singpur village falling in the jurisdiction of Magarlod police station, Dhamtari superintendent of police Asif Khan told PTI.A cash amount of Rs 1.60 lakh, one rifle, Naxal uniforms and other material was recovered from them, he said.A police team was sent to the village after Gram Raksha Samiti in Singpur informed police about some suspected Naxals threatening and looting villagers, Khan said.He said ten cases of threatening and loot have been registered against the arrested Naxals and they were being interrogated.
