A fire broke out today in a five-star hotel in the heart of the national capital, fire brigade officials said.
 
The blaze on the top floor of the 18-storeyed Hotel Lalit on Barakhamba Road near Connaught Place was reported at around 5.50pm, they said.
 
Twelve fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire, they said.
