A fire broke in the office of a Marathi newspaper, Punya Nagri on Thursday around 8.30 pm. The office located near Chawda galli, Narayan Udyog Bhavan in Lalbaug, Mumbai. The fire was doused my firemen after a fire operation on 30 minutes. There are no injuries, however, the office has to limited power supply.

This had affected the Thursday's edition which was about to go to press. 

"The fire had broke due to the short circuit in the server room. We we realised that there is a fire, we all rushed out from the office building. The firemen reached within minutes and doused the fire. None of the staff is injured", said a correspondent of Punya Nagri newspaper.

"The edition of the newspaper will be rolled out from its Navi Mumbai bureau at  least for the day", he added. 

The Narayan Udyog Bhavan houses five media offices including newspapers like Vartahar, Mumbai Chaufer and others. The other four offices were not affected.
