A major tragedy was averted after a fire, which broke out in the pantry car of a train carrying pilgrims from Gujarat was timely detected and brought under control on Moradabad-Najibabad route today.Flames were spotted coming out of the pantry car of Rajkot-Haridwar 'Swami Narain Yatra Vahan' at Puraini railway station this morning, following which the driver halted the train and the fire was controlled, railway sources said.No casualty or injury was reported in the incident.Later, the train was taken to Nagina railway station, where fire tenders, who had already been summoned, extinguished the flames.
