Shweta Sanghvi (21), a student of class XII and a resident of Akash Towers in Bodakdev attempted suicide on Friday morning.

Sanghvi jumped from the sixth floor of the tower and was immediately rushed to SAL hospital.

Currently she is undergoing treatment at the hospital. Sanghvi later told the police that she was afraid of not clearing her board exams that are scheduled for March this year.

Sanghvi was depressed and worried about the same and this led her to take the extreme step. Police inspector SB Trivedi said the girl was afraid of failing the class XII boards and was depressed about it.
