A man and his daughter were killed when their scooter was hit by a truck at a village here, police said today.
 
The incident took place yesterday at Badki Bari village when Ravishankar Srivastava, 30, was returning along with his daughter from a durga puja function.
 
Both were killed on the spot, police said, adding a manhunt has been launched to nab the erring driver.
