Two women became the latest victims of fake cops on Thursday. The women were robbed off valuables worth over Rs3.20 lakh in no time.Shaila Mallya, 43, wife of Srinivas Mallya, a well-known doctor with SAL Hospital, Vastrapur was robbed off her valuables at Sonal Crossroads by a man who claimed to be a cop.According to RS Damor, police sub-inspector at Vastrapur Police Station, the incident happened on Thursday afternoon when she stopped at the crossroads to buy vegetables. Two men dressed as cops approached her, showed their identity cards and asked her to put her jewels in her purse. They warned her that only a day back, a woman was murdered for her jewellery.  “The fake cops made her put her jewellery in her purse and left from the scene. Suspecting foul play, she checked her purse, only to find her valuables missing,” added Damor. She lost her mangalsutra and gold bangles  valued at Rs2.20 lakhs by the police. In a similar incident, a 72-year-old Chandrika Shah was robbed off her four gold bangles worth Rs1 lakh
