Export of skimmed milk powder banned
The government decided to ban the export of skimmed milk powder (SMP) till the end of September 2007 to bridge the widening demand-supply gap in milk.
NEW DELHI: The government on Thursday decided to ban till the end of September 2007 the export of skimmed milk powder (SMP) to bridge the widening demand-supply gap in milk as was reflected by the Re one a litre increase in the milk sold by Mother Dairy.
