Sources said the agency carried out searches to assist the main probe conducted by Mumbai ED in order to obtain and gather "material evidence" from Khan's associates in Delhi.
The Enforcement Directorate today conducted searches at a few locations in the national capital in connection with its probe against Hasan Ali Khan, who is facing charges of money laundering and huge tax evasion.
Sources said the agency carried out searches to assist the main probe conducted by Mumbai ED in order to obtain and gather "material evidence" from Khan's associates in Delhi.
A past associate of Khan, hailing from Bihar, was searched in South Delhi and some documents were seized by ED officials.
A few more searches were carried out by ED at other locations, the sources said.
Some financial transactions and links of Khan's passport have been traced in the national capital, they said.
Earlier in the day, the ED had conducted searches at the premises of Khan's chartered accountant Sunil Shinde in Pune.
Khan has been arrested by the ED on charges of stashing away huge amount of black money in banks abroad.
The 53-year-old businessman is also facing a Rs70,000-crore tax demand notice from the income tax department.
