Earthquake tremors felt in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and parts of north India around 2.51 pm on Tuesday after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake in neighbouring Nepal. The National Centre for Seismology pinned the epicentre of the earthquake to Nepal. This was the second earthquake to hit the country within one hour, with the first one at a magnitude of 4.2 at 2.20 pm.

Two consecutive earthquakes occurred in Nepal within 16 16-minute gap from each other. The first one hit at 2:25 on Tuesday and the second quake hit at 2:50 pm of magnitude 6.2. Strong tremors of the earthquake were felt in several parts of India including Noida, Gurugram, and Delhi. 

People rushed out of their homes all panicked and stressed.
