Drunk passenger creates flutter on flight
A passenger, who had a drink too many, created a flutter on board an Oman Airways flight which landed here, behaving 'unruly' with the crew.
KOCHI: A passenger, who had a drink too many, created a flutter on board an Oman Airways flight which landed here on Tuesday morning, behaving 'unruly' with the crew.
Mohanan (47), a businessman hailing from Cherukottil in Thrissur District, was handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at the airport after the flight touched down at Nedumbassery International airport.
The flight crew filed a complaint with the CISF.
As the passenger was being taken to a police station, he punched a policeman on the nose.
A case was registered aganst him under the Kerala Police Act 51 (a) (disorderly behaviour in a drunken state).
Police sources said the man's relatives had been informed and that he would be handed over to them.
