A drug addict today allegedly beat a 60-year-old man in a fit of rage in a village
in North-24 Paragnas district, police said.
 
Tushar Ghosh died on the spot after he was beaten by a wooden plank in Tallikhola village, they said.
 
The drug addict was later arrested by the police. Even on earlier occassions, he has been arrested thrice for theft.
