Dr. Subhash Chandra talks on importance of communication
During the interactive session, students quizzed Dr Chandra about the importance of Social Media Networking and if that supersedes the importance of personal communication.
Dr. Subhash Chandra, Chairman, Essel Group and ZEE, addressed students of TAPMI School of Business, Manipal University, Jaipur for the latest episode of the Dr. Subhash Chandra Show. Dr Chandra addressed a group of 600 students at the university .
During the interactive session, students quizzed Dr Chandra about the importance of Social Media Networking and if that supersedes the importance of personal communication. "Good Communicators can be good leaders. Communication is a vast canvas," Dr. Chandra opined.
Speaking from his personal experience, Dr. Chandra said, "There was a time 10-15 years ago when I didn't have proper communication with them. I would lose my temper thinking it is their duty to understand what I want to say. But once I became aware of this problem, I slowly made efforts to change it."
The discussion led to the different components of good communication including how expressions and gestures can contribute to effective communication.
