Delhi's Saket Court has pronounced Indian Mujahideen militant Ariz Khan guilty in the 13-year-old Batla House encounter case. The court will hear the arguments on the point of sentencing on March 15 at 12 noon.

The encounter took place on 19 September 2008, and just five days before that, on 13 September, there were five major bomb blasts in Delhi, killing 39 people and injuring more than 150 people. The Indian Mujahideen took responsibility for it 5 minutes after the first bombing. But in spite of this, there was politics in our country and many leaders had also shed tears for the terrorists.

At that time, a total of five terrorists were hiding in Batla House, two of which were killed at the same time and two terrorists managed to escape while one terrorist was caught.

In the encounter, Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma of Delhi Special Cell was also martyred. But Congress leaders questioned his martyrdom at that time and also called this encounter fake. At that time, Congress leader Digvijay Singh was among those who questioned this encounter. He had said that "this encounter is fake and it is clear from the bullets in the head of the terrorists that there has been an attempt to make it look like an encounter." He also demanded a judicial inquiry into it.

Former Union Minister Salman Khurshid demanded an inquiry into it. Mamata Banerjee had called it fake and even Arvind Kejriwal later did Muslim vote bank politics by making it an issue in the Vidhan Sabha elections.

Congress leader Salman Khurshid had also said that Congress party president Sonia Gandhi had tears in her eyes when she got to know that two terrorists have been killed.

It is to be noted that the National Human Rights Commission rejected the claims of this encounter being fake in 2009 itself.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also raised many serious questions on the Delhi Police at that time. She, too, called the encounter fake and said that if she is proven wrong, she will retire from politics. Today, when the court has said that this encounter was not fake, is Banerjee ready to leave politics, keeping her point? Will she apologize to the country for this? And would she admit that she had made a false statement for political gain at that time?

Now, we will tell you the main points of the decision given by the court in this matter.

The Batla House encounter that took place in September 2008 was not fake. That is, all the questions raised on this encounter were inspired by politics.

During the encounter, Shaheed Mohan Chand Sharma, Inspector of Delhi Special Cell, was shot dead by terrorists.

People hiding in Batla House were not innocent boys or students. They were terrorists and the court has admitted that these terrorists were linked to the bomb blasts in Delhi, in which 39 people were killed.

Even during the Pulwama attack, this gang raised serious questions on the army of the country. And when the Indian Air Force carried out an airstrike on Balakot in Pakistan after the attack, the same gang also asked for proof of the strike, whereas Pakistan had agreed that India acted on the base camp of the terrorists. But despite this, there were attempts to mislead people.

This politics is on every subject, whether it is the coronavirus vaccine or the issue of migrant labourers during the lockdown. And when this politics happens, people of the country are provoked and misled. And we feel that the court's decision in the Batla House encounter case has completely exposed these politics.
