IANS reports that Dholakia's firm Hare Krishna Exports has given out four hundred flats and 1,260 cars to the best performing employees, albeit with EMIs.

The diamond merchant told IANS, "We have selected 1,716 employees as the best performers this year. We are arranging houses for those who already have cars, while those who don't have a four-wheeler will get one."

Employees getting flats will be allotted 1,100 sq ft in the company's housing scheme. Dholakia said the flats would be available at 'dirt cheap' at a cost of Rs 15 lakh. While employees will have to pay for the most part of EMI, the company's contribution will be Rs 5,000 for five years. Employees will have to pay an EMI of Rs 11,000 after the first five years.

Dholakia's firm has been giving rich bonuses to the staff. The company had distributed 491 cars and 200 flats among his employees in 2014.  It had spent Rs 50 crore on performance incentives, said Dholakia.
