"The PM had declared in front of soldiers at Leh that his government will implement the OROP scheme. So, why is the government now retracting its statement?" Singh asked while speaking to reporters in Ghaziabad. Taking a dig at the NDA government over its 'acche din' slogan, Singh said petrol, onion, pulses and chicken are selling at the same price in market.

He also alleged that the export of beef had increased after the Modi-led BJP government came to power at the Centre. On upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly polls, he alleged that BJP was planning communal flare-ups to polarise votes in the state.
