Demonetization: Man dies of heart attack while standing in Rajasthan bank queue
The deceased complained of severe chest pain and fell unconscious.
A 46-year-old man on Wednesday allegedly died after he suffered a cardiac arrest while standing in a bank queue to withdraw money.
Modu Singh Gurjar, an employee of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) was at a bank in Chandwaji town. At around 2:30 pm, he complained of severe chest pain and fell unconscious.
Gurjar was soon rushed to the nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. "Gurjar was standing in a queue and waiting for his turn to withdraw the money. He fell down on floor all of a sudden. Though people waiting for their turn rushed for help, he succumbed owing to severity of the attack," Rajveer Singh Champawat, SHO, Chandwaji said.
