Delhi: Woman gang-raped by 5 youths suspected to be juveniles
Just a few days back a teenager was raped by three youths in a park at Shalimar Bagh in northwest Delhi.
In another shocking incident, a 20-year-old woman in Delhi was allegedly gang-raped by five youths on Wednesday night. All the five accused are suspected to be juvenile who allegedly met the girl near a municipal garbage dump in Jahangirpuri around 10 pm. According to reports, the girl has alleged that the youths took her to a desolate sport nearby and raped her. They allegedly threatened to kill her if she mentioned the incident to anyone. Just a few days back a teenager was raped by three youths in a park at Shalimar Bagh in northwest Delhi.
The survivor narrated her ordeal to a relative on Thursday and police were informed. A case of gang rape has been registered. According to reports, the suspects have been detained and police team is verifying their antecedents.
The youths are school dropouts and known to the family of the survivor. They worked part-time at the garbage dump.
