NEW DELHI: The National Students Union of India on Saturday won three out of the four seats in the Delhi University Student's Union elections, its rival
Akhil Bharthiya Vidyarthi Parishad winning one.

Having swept the polls last year, the NSUI, affiliated to the Congress, has retained the posts of president, secretary and joint secretary.

The ABVP, which is the student's wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party has, however, managed to snatch the vice-president's post from the NSUI.

The NSUI had fielded Amrita Dhawan, Shashikant and Tarun Tanwar for the posts of president, secretary and joint secretary, respectively.

ABVP's Vikas trounced Abhimanyu of NSUI to clinch the post of vice president.
