The Odd-Even formula, aimed at curbing air pollution was implemented on a trial basis from January 1-15 in its first phase. Under the formula, odd-numbered four-wheelers were allowed to ply on odd dates and even-numbered vehicles on even dates.

Transport Minister Gopal Rai said that the government will make the announcement after reviewing the responses received from the public through multiple channels.

According to reports, the second phase is likely to be introduced in April as school examinations will be underway in March.
