Three-time Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit was conspicuous on Friday by her absence during release of Congress' manifesto for the upcoming Delhi assembly polls in which the party highlighted achievement of her 15-year rule.

When asked, DPCC President Arvinder Singh Lovely refused to give a direct reply but said she will also campaign for the party.

"Sheila ji is a very respected leader and you will see her in election campaign soon," Lovely said.

The manifesto was released at an event which was attended by Delhi Election Campaign Committee chief Ajay Makhen and AICC-in-charge of Delhi P C Chacko besides Lovely and a number of other leaders. Dikhsit, who was the chief minister from 1998-2013 lost the last assembly elections to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.
