Delhi Police detains four DU students for chasing Smriti Irani
Irani said that four youths were trying to overtake her car and chase her.
Four men were detained after Union Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani lodged a complaint with Delhi Police saying that they chased her. Navbharat Times reports that the Chanakyapuri Police is questioning the four men.
The police received the complaint from Irani on Saturday. In the complaint, the minister said that four youths were trying to overtake her vehicle and chase her. They were in a Hyundai car.
The police followed up on the complaint and caught the youngsters. They say that the accused are students from Motilal Nehru College. They also tested positive for alcohol.
According to Times Now, Irani's security has been upgraded to Z plus category.
