Meanwhile, the Myanmar embassy in Delhi have given its No objection (NOC) for the autopsy of their nationals who died in the fire. The other four Myanmar nationals were moved to a nearby hotel. It also said that the bodies of two Buddhist pilgrimage will be taken back to Myanmar by air tomorrow. The massive fire which killed 17 people and injured several others, snuffed the lives of three persons who had come from Tamil Nadu here on an official trip. The three also included a dentist from the state who had come to Delhi to attend a seminar.

Aravinth Sukumaran (35) and his colleague Nand Kumar (34) working as merchandisers for a Tirupur-based exports firm were here in Delhi to attend a two-day long meeting.Further, a 52-year-old dentist, Shankar Narayan Sheshadri, from Trichy in Tamil Nadu who was here to attend a seminar also lost his life inthe tragedy. His family reached Wednesday morning to collect his body.

"Sheshadri was here to attend a seminar. Unfortunately, his friend Rahul who came to meet him also lost his life along with Mahadev in the tragedy.

While the kin of deceased Lal Chand who was a hotel staff are still running pillar to post to as  Chand's body is untraced."At least five members of our family went to identify the body. But it was charred to such an extent that we could hardly be recognized. He was a heavily built man. There is hardly anything left on his body. Only skeletons are left. Body is also compressed in small size. How can we claim the body when we are not sure?, said Kamlesh, Chand's relative.

Since the body is charred beyond recognition, officials are now opting for DNA profiling to ascertain if the 17th unidentified body is that of Lal Chand. The medical officer at RML said the tissues have been preserved and sample of blood relatives- would be taken and the DNA profiling will take couple of days since it also involves the role of Forensic Science Laboratory.

A case under sections 304 and 308 of the IPC has been registered against the hotel's owner, Suvendu Goyal. Meanwhile, general manager Rajender and manager Vikas have been arrested. The case has been transferred to the Crime Branch.
