The Delhi government today promised additional facilities to the CRPF for setting up schools and housing units for their personnel in the national capital.

Chief minister Sheila Dikshit told the para-military force to get in touch with the state government "without  hesitation" in case it needed any help in this regard.

Dikshit, who inaugurated a 'welfare mela' organised by the Wives' Association of the CRPF, said she respected the force for its devotion and dedication.

She also inspected stalls of various traditional and regular household items put up by the families of the force from across the country.
