According to reports, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will begin cleanliness drive in the national capital.

Even last year in October, the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, AAP Chief Kejriwal started his separate cleanlines drive.

In October 2014, Kejriwal was started cleaning the streets near Prime Minister's residence at Race Course Road. He then approached BR camp where he joined the safai karamcharis in their cleanliness drive.

Meanwhile, Delhi government is also preparing for the budget by holding budget consultations with industrial bodies at Delhi Secretariat.

The consultation meetings were attended by Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, the Secretary of Finance and other senior officials of Delhi Government.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CCI) was the first group to make a presentation on budget recommendations for Delhi. The industry body made presentations on Delhi as a 'Centre of Excellence' on knowledge economy, education, skill development, sanitation, industrial development, ease of doing business, MSME, environment (solar energy, pollution, solid waste management, water conservation, dust pollution, urban forestry), taxation, VAT, e-commerce, incubation centres, tourism, health care and retail.
