Mallika Sarabhai was allotted 'harmonium' as her election symbol by the election commission on Monday. Announcing the same Sarabhai also released the second set of her weekly series of 'Five questions to LK Advani', at a press meet. The first set of questions was released on April 6, where Sarabhai had challenged Advani to a debate in Gandhinagar.

The BJP candidate had neither responded to the questions nor commented on the debate till date. In the form of this week's questions, Mallika raised issues of the fate of the diamond workers in the state, low-cost housing and tainted BJP candidates.

Announcing her action plan for the constituency Mallika said, "I believe that a centralised approach for development is not feasible. If we want to see real development, then the solutions have to be local and specific to the area. The action plans of mine have emerged from visits to different parts of Gandhinagar constituency, after meeting over one lakh people."

The action plan of Mallika has specific targets for farmers and labourers in the rural areas, the urban slum dwellers, the urban middle class people and the business community of Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
