The CPI today demanded that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should "come clean" on the controversy surrounding his office over the 2G spectrum allocation issue."The prime minister's position is being questioned and his moral authority is being shaken. This will shatter the confidence of the people," CPI national secretary D Raja said in the capital.Describing the Supreme Court's observations on the telecom scam as "serious", he said that in the interest of "democratic polity, transparency and good governance, the prime minister should come clean and explain his position forthwith to the people and Parliament".
