The trial court's verdict on the Bhopal Gas Tragedy case today was too little and incomplete without the trial of the foreign accused, Left and Samajwadi party said.Madhya Pradesh CPI (M) secretary Saroj Badal said that the accused had been prosecuted with light sections of IPC andthe CIB has failed to bring the foreign accused WarrenAnderson - former chairman of Union Carbide Corporationm, USA and two others - UCC, USA and Union Carbide Eastern, Hong Kong to face the trial.Badal said that the Centre had budged under the US pressure in dealing with the foreign accused.CPI district secretary Shailendra Shaily said that the Central Government and CBI have betrayed the victims of Bhopal Gas Tragedy.Indian government has buckled under the US pressure and that's why Anderson had not be extradiated, he said, adding that the CBI had made up a feeble case against the accused which resulted in too little punishment to the accused.

Shaily said that Anderson should be brought to India by CBI and should be tried for the mass murders."The punishment was too small for the accused. The government should take legal advice to explore ways to punish the accused with atleast life imprisonment," Samajwadi Party national secretary Dr Sunilam and state SP chief Gauri Singh Yadav said.
